I am watching"The Wiz" on VH1 and when michael jackson and diana ross are goin' down the yellow brick road in the backrounbd there is a rollercoaster in the skyline. What coaster is it?? Also later in the movie when the go to find the tin man they are wlaking down a rollercoaster, what coaster is that??  Can someone pleez tell cause i really wanan know!?!?!?

Yes aren't the WIZ the best Professional Soccer Team in the US?  Oh wait a minute you are talking about the movie, how embarrasing.

Actually I believe that it's the Cyclone, or maybe it's the Twister. :)

it is the coney island cyclone ,period.

 If ya want to find out what it is, look at the end credits, they should say, "Thanks to..." And maybe you'll find out! :)

The coaster in that movie looked to be of wood & wood supports. The CI Cyclone didn't come to mind for me.......

According to IMDB, part of the movie was filmed at Astroland, Coney Island, NY.  Sounds the like the Cyclone to me.

Actually, in Beverly Hills Cop 3, the movie was filmed all over California parks:

PGA (Triple Wheel), Knott's (Kingdom of the Dinosaurs), SFMM (When he is shooting guys off of the skyride into the kiddy rides and games), Universal (Alien Attack)
