The 'wandering wizard' @ DD in IOA

Who is this guy? Is he just someone who works at IOA paid to wander the queue and say "Beware the Dragons" (or whatever) ???

Can someone explain..


p.s and apart from the castle, and two dragons, what else is so great as far as theming?

I dont know about the wizard but in front of that Sindbad show is a foutain that talks trash to everyone that walks buy. I guess some guy sits at a computer all day and messes with people that walk buy.It is the funniest thing watching him talk his stuff to someone then squirt them with water from the fountain.

Coo man choo that's exactly what he for he hide's all around in the caves for DD and tries to scare everyone.

He also makes some pretty funny photos. I had one taken with him where he struck a funny pose, I of course had no idea.

Besides the castle and the dragons, there's the trains themselves. The first rows are pink, cause they're the dragons tongues. And there's plenty other things over the trains that make them look like dragons. Fiberglass behind the seats modeled like claws, there's plenty. There's a whole story behind it too. First room in the castle, the one with the animated stained glass windows gives it to you.

I don't think a lot of people know about this duelling dragons theming element: in between the two dragons at the beginning of the line, you can see all of the duelling aspects of the ride(bunny hop over rollover, corkscrews, and face to face loops). Amazing.

The wizard in the Lost Continent section is Merlin. Lately he's been talking and telling stories near the rentry door in DD queue. When he isn't doing that he performs a magic show infront of the restraunt(name has slipped my mine at the moment) across from DD.

Supermandl, he doesn't try and scare anyone he just stands around in the same place telling stories and it kinda startles some people when your running through the castle and all of a sudden come across a large guy in a ton of robes and such.

Scanz, did you get that dragon thing from Americas Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills on DVD? Thats were I got it. Well anyways it is really cool, and if one of you hadn't noticed it look for it next time you visit IOA. BTW it makes for a great picture!
