The Voyage Song, as promised

(sung to the tune of "My Guy")

The Voyage Song

Comin’ up in May can’t keep me away from … Voyage.
An air-time machine … the most you’ve ever seen … The Voyage
It may not have a movie theme … but when we crest that lift hill – we’ll scream!
It’s got three trains … so don’t you complain … The Voyage

Track made of wood … just like we should … The Voyage
Air-time galore … you know you’re a (!) … The Voyage
You know you want that triple-down … if you don’t ride hands up: get outta town!
It’s got three trains … so don’t you complain … The Voyage

All 8 tunnels are underground ... it's wild back there at the turnaround
Twisty and fast on the way back in ... visit in May and we'll take a little spin

You like 90-degrees? ...We'll take it times-three ... on Voyage
With negative-G's ... way up high in the trees ... on Voyage
Nearly half a minute of floater air...a new event with ERT..I'm so there!

There's not a man today … who could keep me away from The Voyage
There’s not a steelie today…that could keep me away from The Voyage
(at No Coaster Con only) Not even Marty and his puns could be half as The Voyage

(Thanks to those who sang along the echo parts ... you get an "A" for effort!)

Both times, there was a split-second pause while it sunk in.

Happily, they filled in the blank and had a good laugh.

Whew! Paula

Isn't Voyage a traditional steel coaster? I see alot of Angle Iron in the pictures.

Can't wait to ride.

I expect Paula will have to sing this on media day and opening day, and at Holiwood Nights. :-P

I don't know about Media Day and Opening Day, but Paula said at NoCoaster that they will not be performing this song at Holiwood Nights. SHe stated that they will have a different song for that event.

George, I believe that was stated in an earlier thread, not at the actual event.

As I recall, there was no outpouring of "encore!" at NCC. :)

Thank you for posting that wonderful song. I was laughing to hard at Eastcoaster to sing the requested parts during most of the song. Great Idea and I can't wait for the new song at Holiwood Nights.
