Shaggy
Shaggy you are god... I wish I could answer hehe I haven't ridden the ride in a year.

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?
All of these things are bringing back memories of the ride, but darned if I know the answers.
I'm pretty sure there are three wind effects: the coffin, the furnace and ...er... one more.

4. The cars are numbered, and their is no car numbered 13. (I rode in car 12 today!)
8. Morgan Manufacturing built the cars, while R&R creative did all the theming and animatronics. (R&R also did Adventure Express`s tunnels)
10. I believe that there are three wind effects. Two with cold air, and one, in front of the furnace/boiler, blowing warm air (this last one was not functioning today!)
I really don`t pay attention to the names of all the characters. I hope whatever replaces it is a good, air conditioned ride. (I hope an anouncement comes soon!)

Incredible PT quiz, Shaggy! I wish I knew all the answers.
1- Six: The hologram-like photo as you walk to the doom buggies, the queuing area, beginning of the doom buggy part, behind the Maestro photo that fades in and out, the area with the music spinning over his head, and in the theatre scene.
2- "Who's there? The back stage is for performers only!" [break] "Hey! Who's out there? Only performers are allowed back stage!"
3- Lets see. The evil rabbit being pulled out of his hat. The cards being balanced. The spinning rings. And... uhhh... something is happening with a box but I can't remember what.
4- There ins't a number 13 buggy.
5- The only one that I know is the magician and it's The Great Houdelini.
6- "Step right in, the show is just about to begin. Move along. No one will be..." I can't remember that last line. Yesterday when I rode it we momently stopped there too! Daggonit! :)
7- The Mighty Bosco.
9- I can only think of two of the three things- a spear and a shield.
10- Two. The sarcophagus (cold air) and the furnace (hot air). The hot air wasn't working when I rode it on Sunday either, coasterszr.
Man, I'm starting to get a little sad now! :) I hope I can get video of it next Sunday when I go back to PKI!
My two favorite dialogues in PT come from Maestro: "What are you looking at? So, you haven't seen enough have you? Hahaha! You think you'll be allowed to leave once you've heard my music? I don't think so! Yahahaha!" and... "You'll be back! You'll be baaack! Yahahaha!"

Phantom Theater is a great dark ride. I remember when it first opened; I was five years old and my parents took me on it. I had my eyes shut throughout most of the ride! Even now, when I go to PKI, I make a note to ride PT. It's a must on my PKI to-do list. The fact that there is no number 13 buggy is pretty cool. It's like in hotels, how the 13th floor doesn't exist. Does anyone know why this is?

once again, i shall ask the dumb question wheres phantom theatre?
Phantom Theater is at PKI in the Hanna-Barbera Land section of the park. I'm not sure if you've been to PKI before, but PT is in the building behind Top Cat's Taxi Jam. That large building actually has two attractions inside of it- PT and a regular show theater, Enchanted Theater.

Here are the answers...
1. How many animated Maestro figures appear throughout the ride?
This is sort of a trick question. There are 5 Maestro figures. One in the entrance queue, one at the very start of the ride pulling back the curtain, one behind a painting, one playing the organ in the theatre and one with the swirling music sheets just after the theatre scene. However, only four of those are animated. The one behind the painting does not move.
2. What does the back stage janitor say as he switches on and off the lights and shines a flashlight?
He makes two statements. Each one alternates between every other buggie. He says "Who's out there? No one's allowed back stage" as well as "Go on now, this is no place to be playing around. Backstage is for performers only."
3. Name 4 of the magic tricks occurring as you pass by the magician's dressing room.
- Pulling an evil rabbit from his hat
- Floating magic wand
- Spinning rings
- Moving playing cards
- Magic chest emitting sparkles
- Rocking escape chest
4. What is significant about the "doom buggies" or cars you ride in?
There is no #13.
5. Name the following Phantom Theatre Characters: - The soprano that hits the glass breaking high note.
Hilda Bovine
- The stuntman that gets shot from a cannon.
The Great Garbanzo
- The magician.
Houdelini
- The little seen or heard tenor.
Willard Warbler
- The Shakespeare reciting actor.
Lionel Burymore
6. What does the levitating usher say to you just before your buggie enters the elaborate "theatre" stage scene?
He says "Step lively folks, the show's just about to begin."
7. Name the spooky character which only his hands are seen as he tries to escape from behind a creaking door.
The Mighty Bosco
8. What manufacturer built the ride conveyance system for the attraction?
Morgan Manufacturing
9. What three items is the high note hitting soprano holding each time you see her throughout the ride?
A handkerchief, a staff and a shield.
10. How many air/wind effects are used on guests while riding the attraction?
Three. One of the hallway doors emits a gust of wind, the mummy emits a cold gust and the finale in the boiler room has the furnace blowing hot air.
Shaggy
Does anyone know why there has never been a number 13 buggy????
I have always wondered.
