Down in the dumps because of our visit to SFAst.W., we became extremely home sick and the fact we were about 1,800 miles from home set in. Basically we wanted to go home. We prayed that Fiesta Texas would help get us in a better mood. Thankfully it did.
SFFT is actually a very nice place to be. It holds the nicest Wild West and Rockville theming i've ever seen at a Six Flags. Its setting is very unique. Located in the middle of an old quary, you are surrounded by steep cliffs all around. Moving on...
Boomerang: Coast to Coaster (2) - Yet another boomerang. Credit
Poltergeist (3) - Identical to Joker's Jinx but with a very cool theme. The old haunted house theme is very cool.
Superman: Krypton Coaster (5) - Best coaster in the park, hands down. My favorite floorless. I also couldn't believe just how much airtime the coaster had. When the ride helixed on the side of the cliff then plumeted back down to the bottom was awesome. Very smooth. Very intense. Kick butt ride.
Road Runner Express (4) - This coaster alone restored my faith in Arrow mine trains. The very best mine train i've ever been on. I liked the fact how you were supposed to be the Road Runner and the coyote was after you. Sadly the water effects weren't working.(a state wide drought would do that) Nice ride.
Der Rollshuhcoaster (1) - Kiddie coaster
Rattler (1) - Slow, boring, rough, and all out disappointing. The only cool thing about the ride was the tunnel I had no idea that existed. Other then that, a ride I won't ever ride again. What's the deal with the helix anyway?
I found the park to be a nice place to be. Sadly the water falls were not operating that day so I never got to see it. Oh well. Friendly employees and clean pathways. Superman alone was worth the trip. Overall I gave the park a. (4) Some of the best theming in the Six Flags chain.

Did you ride the S&S tower (can't remember the name)? Not as great as other towers, but a great ride nonetheless. And as far as mine trains, I must throw in a plug for ThuNderaTion at SDC. It's the only mine train I've ever been on that actually felt like a roller coaster. But rain kept the coasters closed :( when I went to SFFT last year, so I didn't get to ride RRE.
Great TR, from what I've seen SFFT is the crowd-pleaser of the TX parks.

Hmm... I found Thunderation to be a rather boring ride... I can think of two better mine trains.
Did you ride:
1) Scream (S&S Towers)- Great shot & drop combo!
2) Bugs Bunny's White Water Rapids (Log Flume)- One of the best-themed SF water rides out there (if not the best!)
Good TR...
