Ridezone.com just put up a new set of pictures today! And in the pics they show the "surprise" element of the ride. The entrance to the Immelman is in an underground tunnel! It's not really an underground tunnel, just a very deep trench! But it looks awesome. When you look at it, it just looks like the track is sitting on the ground. This is going to be very cool!!!

Yet another thing that can also be seen on Top Gun at Carowinds :P This coaster is gonna rock!
Looking good. I still wish I was there erecting it.
I noticed a brake before the dive below grade.
I'll be riding her the second weekend Dorneys open.

Maybe we'll get a full trench variety invert like Nemesis in the US. There has to be a park with a height restriction that could use one of those! For some reason I can't foresee a US park adding in rivers of blood.
If the town where I live had a park it could be an orange river. It's from the sulfer run off of the coal mines in the area.

Brakes are meant to slow you down DUH! I don't think you want to go too fast into the immelman or you'll have riders complaining and that's just a royal pain in the balls.

Talon is going to rock, roll, and take its toll!
JEEZE! K Walk lighten up. I just made mention to a brake I saw in the one pic nothing more nothing less. I'm sure it's just like the one on Mantis's first drop, and on the second? drop on Apollo.

You have to expect a brake or two somewhere, but that still does not dissapoint me the slightest bit. Dorney has outdone themselves, and Talon will become a favorite of many enthusiast in my opinion. I just wish I knew what was up with the webcam, it has not been working the last couple days, and you can see that they have started putting in supports for the drop and turn into the corkscrew.
I wish they's move the web cam to a better spot. I think on or near the Wild Mouse or even at Wildwater kingdom would be a better spot to see the entire job site.

I'm currently praying to the mighty gods at Cedar Fair so that they might put an invert at Valleyfair.

You build it, I'll ride it...eventually
The reason they are not moving the webcam is because they are planning on documenting it, just like Cedarpoint did with Millennium Force. It should make for a nice addition to the wonderful documentation the park has already put forth for the roller coaster enthusiast. I do agree however, a better spot could have been selected.
OH! One of those rapid construction videos where all the still shots make up a 30 second viedo of the entire construction? Cool! :)

"FEAR the Four!"
Sounds great! It will make for an excellent ERT during the ACE convention this year. Half buried immelman sounds sweet.

Everybody calm down, the coasters do not open for another fifteen minutes.
