As Kennywood being my home park I have rode the Steel Phantom several times. But when I rode it today it seemed a lot smoother and it provided a lot of airtime.
Everybody says it gives no airtime and I thought that untill today. I noticed two spots on the track that give some killer airtime.
1. At the peek of the second drop after the first hill.
2. At the ending brakes.
I today was the first time I rode in the front ( I never wanted to wait in line for it). At boy was it better than any Steel Coaster! It is the most amazing expirance riding in the front.
But then I went on the ride again I rode in the middle. OUCH!!!! I was whishing I had never gotten on the ride.
