I haven't gotten sick on any ride since the Teacups as a small child....but several have brought me "to the brink"...

Paratrooper, Miracle Strip (extended cycle).....Gravitron, Myrtle Beach Pavilion....Dutch Wonderhoose, DW....Downdraft at Knoebels....an oldie but a goodie, Rotor (Mine Shaft?) PKD....and more recently, Storm Force, IoA....there's some others, but these were the first to come to mind....:)

"The robot mafia is running numbers?"
"Well, nothing fancy, mostly just ones and zeroes"...;)

The octupus ride at SFA is absolutely insane as is Fiddler's Fling at SFGAM. Those take the cake for me. None of the more extreme flats I have ever rode have done much to me.

If given the choice I'd choose a hamburger over a hotdog anyday of the week.

Ahhhh. Power Surges, Space Rollers, Deep-fried Oreos--hey, the MN State Fair opens tomorrow! The good stuff is coming to town and it's whirl-and-hurl time for yours truly...

-'Playa

(who sez: VF has a great flat ride lineup...for a corporate park, knowwhatImean?)

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

I liked the Top Spin at Great Adventure when they had it on a longer cycle. It went upside down 21 times throughout the ride. It was great. Except they shortened the ride, and now it is not as good.
The worse for me was defibnately "Tornado" by Huss at the Ozark Empire Fair is SW Missouri. There was one plus, nudies on the back drop.

ROYALS!!!

There are two rides that have almost gotten to me, and they're both at SFA-the already mentioned Eli Luna Park Octopus and Intamin's Pirate's Flight. It was something about going around in circles for however long the ride cycle is that messed with me. The rides that have directional changes I seem to do fine with, such as the already listed Power Surge. I agree that Downdraft is brutal. It's all those lateral G's.

If you really want a brutal Tea Cup-like ride, try the Giant Wheel at Hershey, and spin the cabin as fast as you can. We had a penny sticking to the wall.

If you have a problem with clones, the solution is real simple—Stop traveling.

I don't know how many people here have been on Fiddlers Fling at SFGam, but if you do, make sure you sit on the outside. The ride is like a combination between the tilt-a-wirl and a scrambler. It is also on an incline. It literally flings you to the inside of the cabin and if more than one person is in there, the inside person gets crushed. It's an amazingly fun ride, and a great flat, but watch out for that inside seat.
I did Fiddler's Fling at SFGAm last year and I was sure to avoid it this past couple of days. That is one crazy ride. I can ride CP's Calypso with no problem.

I finally rode East River Crawler on Monday for the first time and I enjoyed that despite the quick spins of the cars.

X Factor

My body is quite strange when it comes to flats...I can ride some rides that look nauseating with no problem, i.e. Power Surge, Top Scan, etc., but one thing I can NOT ride without coming off horribly sick is a spider, HW's in particular. And after absolutely *loving* PCW's Psyclone and PKI's Delirium, I looked forward to trying an "old-school" Frisbee last month when I visited SFFT. My god, what a mistake. I felt horrible afterward...fortunately this only lasted about an hour or so, and I felt good as new after a few dozen cups of water.:)

All I have to say is Holy Crap!

I wasn't aware that those cabins could really spin that fast. I wouldn't trust spinning them that fast personally, but hey, you got a penny to stick to the wall!

I love the Fiddlers Fling at SFGAm! My advice is get a seat by yourself! I rode it during CoasterBuzz Con and had a blast. I was warned before hand though to not sit with anyone. It would have been a very painful ride if I would have sat with my friend that went with me. I dont know why I didnt get sick on Fiddlers Fling considering that the last time I rode a Tilt-A-Whirl I puked all over my friends little brother.
