what types of things on a coaster do you think really boost the experience?
for me...i would say:
1.)tunnels 2.)trenches 3.)theming 4.)head-choppers 5.)unique on-ride pic locations
i also like a good atmosphere and station music. i think the DJ's on MF @ CP added to the experience and the involvement of the ride ops w/ loud-speakers helped too. anything to keep the excitement and get the adrenaline moving helps.

Ride ops have a lot to do with it for me. Too often my ride experience carries over a lot from the way the coaster is being run, from efficiency to nice ride ops to other excited people on the train. If I'm disgusted and frustrated by the time I get on the train, chances are it won't be a great ride (exceptions: MForce, Raging Bull). Chang was like that...I might have enjoyed it more were it not for the horrible crew operating it. And very good crews added a lot to the Raven and Legend recently as well as the Gwazi. (In my book the BGT crews run a very close 2nd to HW's).
Brakes also affect my experience a lot, but I don't consider braking a "small" issue by any stretch.
