The Silver Bullet in my dreams

Arrgh, we finally moved from Dallas to San Diego with a few of my family members out here. I really want to ride the silver bullet, but thats sort of a long trek. I have a couple friends up there in L.A. There really needs to be a Six Flags San Diego. Does anyone know a solution to this transportation issue? I really want to get to the farm by the end of january. Well, it feelws good to be back on coasterbuzz...

Hmmm, I would consider it a blessing!

According to Mapquest Buena Park is only about an hour and a half from San Diego. I don't see any issues. You are lucky! :-D

If you have a car go for it! As far as other means of transportation in Cali I am not the person to ask. :-(

<---who is used to driving at least 30 minutes to 12 hours just to ride coasters. lol.

Be grateful that you actually have Roller Coasters in your country! My nearest park with anything significant is a 45 minute flight away, and my nearest park otherwise (with a Reverchon mouse -- wow!) is a four hour drive.

Check AMTRAK's schedule. Perhaps there is a station close enough to Buena Park to make a cab ride not so expensive.

But as previously said the drive isn't all that long. I've made it from San Diego to Buena Park in just over an hour.

alrite well thanks guys
You can take the Amtrak to Fullerton, and then you are just 6 miles from Knott's.

They are adding a metrolink station in Buena Park, so that will be even closer, however I do not think it is open as of yet.
