The shortest loop and other records

Does anyone know how tall the shortest vertical loop is? Manufactures boast about the largest loop, but not about the shortest loop which would be more intense depending on the speed.

Second of all, which coaster currently has the tallest loop?

Tertiarily, which US coasters have unique elements?

The answers to these questions would be appreciated

I think all of the B&M floorless and stand ups have the tallest loops of about 120.
The TALLEST loop is Viper at SFMM, the biggest loop in curicumfrence, hwo big around, I am not shure, it's a B&M though. The shortest loop is probibly the arrow launched shuttle loops, or B:TR.

How about the loop on that one Rose Bowl float back in the late 80's. That was really short.

Other than the old Flip Flap coasters from 100 years ago, the smallest loop has to be on looping Zyklon's and the like.

Here are some give and takes -

Windjammer Surf Racers (Knott's Berry Farm)

and

Klondike Gold Mine (Drayton Mayor)

The afterburner was an arrow prototype and it had a fairly small loop if i remember correctly.
The Blue Flash's loop can't be more than 15 feet tall.

I live in Oklahoma City, where we have a Arrow Shuttle Loop at the amusement park, Frontier City. Tomorrow i am going to SFOT because i got FREE TICKETS to the park through a local newspaper! Maybe i'll try to find out exactly how smal the circumfrences of the loops are. If i have time. I'll probably be spending most of the time there in the Mr. Freeze line, cause it goes so fricken' slow!!!!!

I was just about to mention the blue flash. My guess would be that Klondike Gold Mine ride, like 20 feet in diameter. Also, what was that one water ride with a loop again?
All those Pinfari loopers (Klondike Gold Mine, Looping, Loop 2000, etc) have those tiny loops. They've got to be only like 20 feet tall. It's crazy stuff.

I thought the Tennessee Tornado @ Dollywood had the biggest loop, I may be wrong though.
I don't know about roller coasters, but there is a waterslide in New Jersey with a loop. The loop looks VERY small.

I believe that the tallest loop is on Medusa (west).

todd: Viper has the highest loop, not the tallest.

Do any of you know how to build a sundial out of a pen and a donut?
uh oh, sounds like someone has a case of the mondays.

Correction......the HIGEST inversion is on Volcano: The Blast Coaster.
Juibalee Oddyssey (And I know that I killed the spelling) has the worlds largest loop and it is on a Vekoma Custom SLC. This ride just opened this year and is also the worlds tallest Invert. It is located at a park in England and I can't quite put my tounge on the name of it.

That park waterpark is 15 min away from me and is now called Mt. Creek. I got 2 rides on it and it is now gone. That loop is about 10 feet or less.

No, in case you haven't heard, the Jubilee Odyssey's specifications were miscalculated by more than a mile. The ride isn't 200'+, nor does the loop come anyplace near 200'. If I recall correctly, the stat for the loop was around 115-120'.

It's B:KF @ SFWoA, 136.5 ft to be very exact. Some say S:KC @ SFoT is 160 ft, but it isn't. Viper @ SFMM is the tallest, and Manhattan Express probably has the inversion highest above the ground, since the ride is 200 ft high for the majority of the ride.

Ya know, I was thinking this, but didn't want to say anything to avoid stupidity if I was wrong...hehe.

I think the tallest loop was on one of the Medusas.
