The perfect horsecollar?

I've given a lot of thought into this. I've thought of it when I'm supposed to be listening to the teachers, at night, on the bus, and many other places. Though I still haven't been able to come up with a horsecollar that doesn't have the capabilities up headbanging and is practical. I think it needs to have a lot of padding, and be adjustable to keep your head from moving like on the Joker's Jinx. So what has anybody else pondered a that kind of horsecollar, or even come up with it.

One that doesn't swallow your head, it is that easy. It should come from the above and stop when it gets to your shoulder. Padding won't do much, because people(jerks) just LOVE to rip it off.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
No, that's Arrow's problem, YOU NEED PADDING!

Arrow's new restraints, the ones that come around the arms and meet at the middle of the chest, look absolutely awesome. It's not a horsecollar, really, but I'd love to see them added to old coasters as well as put on new ones.

I understand X will use these restraints. Is this true? From the pictures I've seen, I can't make it out.

Vekoma's "vest" restraints, like on Stealth. Easily the most comfortable restraint I have ever been restrained by. B&M has the problem nearly licked, their rides are actually smooth!

"X" marks the spot in 2001!

Yes, X will use the new restraints, as will the Arrowbatic. To me, this just adds icing on the cake of Arrow's new designs. These guys are ready to blow the roof off the rollercoaster industry...again.

Why not just issue motocross helmets in line? Or bring your own to the park. I just think if the horsecollar was at the neck it wouldn't bash the ears. I guess then people would complain about their necks then. I don't think the problem will ever be fixed.

The perfect horsecollar? One used for connecting a horse to a cart!

On an amusement ride, the only good shoulder bar is one that has been REMOVED.

I feel no ride needs a shoulder harness, except rides that suspend you upside down.

Wow, I'm surprised it took Dave that long to chime in. ;) I had no idea he felt so strongly about that!

To tell you the truth, I love Premier Rides horsecollar. I think that there is nothing wrong with it. The Joker's Jinx makes your head touch the horsecollar, but so what, it doesn't hurt, the only restraint that has given me problems is Arrows horsecollar.

See you in 2001 for twice the fun (hint, hint)
That's because they do not cover you in the event of an inversion.

I think they should use the same strap system they do with f-16 fighters. Those wouldn't be too bad would they?
