The only coaster lover?

I'm with ya. Every chance I get to do a project dealing with roller coasters, amusement parks, and so on, I jump at it. Even though everyone makes fun of me. It's really hard sometimes but I stick with it cause I know that I acutally have something to look forward to and enjoy everyday when I get home........Coasterbuzz!

Its the same at my school. People might love Coasters, but when they find out that I've waited forever and ridden rides tons more times then they have, they think I'm looney. I'm always wearing Coaster Shirts and stuff like that. People notice it too. I'm always asked "How was that ride, or that park?" Well..as long as I'm riding Coasters, the Coasters are your TRUE friends...^.^

Damn i feel so loonly out here in this cold part of the coaster world (sweden) There are some fans in sweden, i know at least 3 in this country. My friends can't understand why i read and looks at the sites about roller coasters and pics of these wonderful creations. And they know nothing about coasters,,, it's like talking to neandethals... somebody help me.... please lol :)

Well I am the only coaster lover at my school. Luckly however, my girlfriend loves coasters as much as I do. So it's all good.

I feel rather alone as well. Even tho my son and husband will ride coasters, they don't understand my enthusiasm. Neither do any of the people I work with. The bright spot is I work for a university, and students who come into my office notice my coaster "stuff" and many of them are enthusiasts.

I have a fellow enthusiast in my class and when we start to talk our friends roll their eyes and turn away. I also have coaster "likers" in my class who will ride them but aren't obssesed with them like me.

I totally know exactly what your saying right up to looking at a roller coaster on a science book and im the only one wondering if its a arrow or a vekoma. The best thing that happened is a turned my friend matt into an enthusist and i also have people that like coasters but have no clue. ex. Nitro's drop is like so steep its 38 degrees. etc.

Yeah, I like doing projects on coasters too. I used to bug my friends about them, but that's why I come here. :) I did a huge term paper last year combining English and Biology over me proving how the G's felt on coasters weren't harmful to people. I got an A+ in English and A in Biology. It was one of my favorite papers I've ever written. :)

I think there over 2000 people who go to my high school, and I have yet to meet any coaster lovers, but then again, this is only my freshman year. My friends like rollercoasters, but they aren't all that excited when i talk about coasters. One of them really likes to go to BGT, but isn't an enthusiast. By the way, I live in Florida, B&M wonderland, and I can't find anyone who loves coasters as much as me!

Ive done a number of coaster projects to...I did a HUGE project last year (my senior year in high school) for Math, Physics and Business. I wrote a 15 page paper explaining everything from how coasters work, what G-forces were, how they affected the human body and so on. I also filmed my own video and editted that. Then I had to present it..only downside as I hate standing infront of a very large number of people. On the upside, we did get to goto Six Flags New England for a day so I was able to explain how the coasters worked. I got some quality SRoS time in that day :) it was kinda funny to see how the kids in my class were scared of SRoS though

At my job,there is one person who has an interest in coasters,in fact his parents are fellow ACE members.Other than that,being a coaster enthusiast in Portland,Oregon,I am pretty much a lone wolf.

At my small school I am the only enthusiast. But "coasterjoker" is a fellow enthusiast. I see him after school.

I don't know of any other people at my school that are coaster freaks like me. My friends "accept" that I am obsessed with roller coasters and they put up with me. :) My friends also ride coasters with me, but don't spend all their free time uploading pics of them, downloading videos of them or constantly think about them! I actually think its a funny....... lol :) :)

Where has the magic gone in the name Disney?

I know how you feel, I am a freshman in highschool and there are only 450 kids in my school, and I am the only one that I know of that is in love with coasters. Of course, Denver itself isn't a real big coaster town at all.

I know there is one buzzer from Wilmington, NC but I don't "know" him/her personally. But I am the only coaster lover in my school. Some of my friends like roller coasters but they just go on them is their family happens to plan a vacation to Disney World of something
