What do you think is going to be the next widely used name? I think DeJa'Vu will be the next "big" name. What do you think?

I guessing we may see some more coasters with X somehow incorperated in their name throughout six flags... X, X-Flight,and hmmmm..maybe X-Factor?

Six Flags are the only parks you'll find very repetitive names at(Viper, Batman, Superman, etc.). I don't think they'll make more than 2 more Deja Vu's at the most. I agree with FCR. X will probobly be in a lot of their new ride names.

Camel, I meant besides those 3.

Jephry, you can't tell me all the Batman's, Superman's, and Viper's are clones. Go ahead. Look 'em up.

There are quite a few superman rides listed in the database and tons of Boomerangs. yet there is only one Cornball Express. I wonder why. Perhaps because IT IS A STUPID NAME.

KoasterKing, I misread your post. My bad. Also, I think Jephry meant (although poorly worded) that the Vekoma standard models are named the same because they are clones, not that all coasters with the same names are clones. Correct me if I'm wrong Jephry.

If there being just one Cornball Express in the database makes it a stupid name, jdancisin, doesn't that make MilleNNium Force, Alpengeist, Hulk, Ice Dragon and Raptor pretty stupid names, too... ? I think Cornball Express is a good name for a coaster, snappy, fits the park, memorable.

You're missing one biggie: CORKSCREW

Didn't EVERY park have one? CP and SF:WOA(GL) are only a couple hours apart and didn't even bother having different names!

All the Vipers are clones?? I can't think of even two that are the same. I can only think of three right now, but they're nowhere close to the same: SFGAm (woodie), SFAW (Schwartzkopf (sp? :)) looper), and SFMM (Arrow looper). Are there Vipers that are the same? I thought it was just a result of the lack of creativity at Six Flags ('X', anyone? ;)). *** This post was edited by Lothar on 3/12/2001. ***

Oh, leave Cornball Express alone. It's an original name and has a very unique, original, and nicely designed layout. It goes in a lot of areas that will make the coaster very fun and exciting.

P.S. - What's Milleniun Force? What a strange name...

The big name will always be hurricane . I think it is a must that at some time a park wants a rollercoaster named hurricane in some form. I think it is a great name though

"Deja Vu" has been used three times in 2001 alone. A little ironic, isn't it?
