The New X Coaster

I am pretty sure many of you have experienced this demo on the SFMM site but this coaster is truely INSANE.
Looks like a cardiac arrest ready to happen.
Is anyone as crazy as I am to ride this thing??
I am so tossed up as to whether to journey to SFMM this summer or go as planned and ride Hypersonic.
Any advice would be appreciated.

If X turns out as good as it looks, it will be the ride everyone will be talking about this year. It looks to be the first steel coaster in years to actually frighten me. I say you gotta do it. Hypersonic's launch should be pretty insane, but I have a feeling that people expecting too much may be let down. Still, you really can't make a bad choice, but at SFMM you can also check out Goliath, Riddler's Revenge, Superman and Deja Vu.

Life consists of two kinds of people, those who accept, and those who sit back and cry...
Do you think that a lot of people will faint after riding this ride? Maybe they should put a first aid booth right near the exit?

Chris
Yeah, maybe this ride will turn out like the good ole Cyclone...
It's all about "M.M." and "X" and "Arrow" baby :]

Has there been an actual date as to when the new coasters will open?

X will be xtreme,xiting,xtra fun
Well you have to consider the possibilities..

West Coast I can hit Magic Mountain and Great America which covers Stealth,Goliath,Riddler's,Deja-Vu,X,Superman,all the good ones

East Coast I can get Apollo's Chariot,Volcano,Alpengeist,Hypersonic

Im already local to Dorney which covers Talon and Hershey isnt getting anything new

Already did Cedar Point last summer

Where would you go?
hey im only 14 and im going the day it opens and im not scared. Plus its a big industry so they have to make it safe. i mean the hypersonic is only going to be good for the 1st second like superman. The only thing i hope is that they have nice shoulder harnesses like stealths, and anyway deja vue looks scarier. One last thing to answer anyones ? Deja Vue is opening early spring and x is late spring
I think I am going to be scared. Being up that high with nothing below you. I don't really get scared on coasters anymore, but I would like to be again. I hope the lift hill doesn't have anything under it like Batman does. I know I am going to love it though!!!
I think X might be a mixed idea because not everyone has the stomach(or the head-fainting)for those "spinny" rides. Personally, I can't stand any of those but Scramblers, swings, some Octopus' and Shake,Rattle and Roll(that's what its called at PKI). X is probobly the only coaster that will make me think before riding. I think they would have been better off programming the rides spins so at least everyone will still be consious during the good parts whether they want you to lay down, be straight up or face backwards. I think this would be a better idea. If your going down a hill doing flips, I don't think you'll even get the sensation of going down the hill. The G-Forces will just be turning your chair. And if you don't know where you're going why does it matter? I guess we'll have to wait till it opens.

Did you say Stealth was going to be good... if you are 5

I am wondering what the station will look like.

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point
I think the spinning of the seats is actually controlled by the track.

Millenium Force; The future is riding on it.

You think correctly.

I don't think they will let your seats just flip in any given direction..then it would be a "weight issue"
For example..someone heavier then someone else wouldn't turn as fast or in certain directions as someone who was lighter.
We tested this fact on the Monster ride (Octopus)
and when you are heavier, the ride spins less or not at all.
Advice:don't go on spinny rides with a fat person..you go NOWHERE!:)
