Kyle Says: Diamondback was a lot of fun! Made his first time at Kings Island worth it all!
I had never seen anyone urinate while in line for a ride. While waiting in line for Vampire at SFB, I saw multiple people at multiple times shaking the dew off their lillies like it was nothing. I couldn't believe it. I mean, a couple of people didn't even get out of line.
Last year while waiting for a coaster, a rather saucy woman jumped a railing to land down on gravel about 5 feet below, and clearly off limits. She didn't want to leave the line to use the bathroom so she decided to "jump and squat" in front of everyone. Not only was everyone in line freaking out, but there was a fully loaded train right next to her with a bunch of guys applauding her and saying all kinds of things to her.
After she was finished, she left the line. Go figure.
Now, this next story is a really out there, but there were many witnesses besides myself that saw this happen. This didn't happen while in line for a ride, but it did occur while waiting to ride. Read on to understand.
In 1999, I attended a event at Americana. Everyone that attended the event was asked to meet back at the picnic shelters so they could clear the park out before our night ERT on the Eagle would start.
There was still a hint of sunlight and the group of about 50 people or so were just sitting and standing around at the picnic area waiting like we were instructed.
I looked over at my friend Jim and saw him looking at something in the distance. I watched as he stood up and walked a few feet with a very strange look on his face. I went over to see what he was looking at and I also saw something very strange.
Right above the area where the front gate was (we were a few hundred feet from the gate) we saw this odd, silverish looking thing hoovering a few hundred feet above the ground.
Jim and I didn't say a thing. I have no idea what it was. At first I thought it was some sort of weather balloon but it started moving sideways very quickly, then back again. It then looked like it decended right behind a building that was in the park.
I looked back behind me and noticed pretty much everyone else was watching it. I realized I had my video camera with me and went over to the table where I had it sitting and grabbed it. While I didn't get any image of what we saw, I did get the first reactions on tape. You can tell people were really confused.
At this time, we were escorted over to the ride. We passed the exact area where we saw the "thing" go down, but there wasn't any evidence of anything. We asked the park security that was walking us over to the coaster if they had seen anything but they claim they didn't.
Whatever it was, it was creepy looking. I am not saying it was some sort of space monkey craft or anything like that, but whatever it was, it was strange.
I still have that tape and every once in a while I will play it for someone that wants to check it out as a few people still talk about it.

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger
We didn't realize what had happened at first. Neither had his mother. The line moved, but he didn't. His mother saw him, grabbed him, yelled and he zipped up. The line moved quickly, so we didn't have to be near it. I bet some people smelled that later. Yuck.

Another time in line for TTD a college girl hopped on her boyfriend's back because she was tired of waiting. She was concerned that nothing was being exposed, so she asked her friends to check. Her friends betrayed her and pulled her shorts down! Pretty amusing for me and my friends. :D
