The Most Anticipated Coaster???

I want to know of some people's opinions of the new coasters coming out for the 2001 season. In your own opinion and mind, what coaster are you looking forward to and anticipating the most to ride for the upcoming 2001 season? Only one coaster!!! I personally can't wait to ride Batwing at Six Flags America. That park is the closest to me (about 30 minutes away) and I have never ridden a vekoma flying dutchman model before, and I can't wait for the sensation of being able to fly. That is my most anticipated coaster for the new season.

Phantom's Revenge, not just because it is closest, but because I have become so involved in its construction. I was at Kennywood the day it was announced and have been following it ever since. I can't wait till it is done and I can finally ride it.

This seems to be a popular question as of late...

Since the original question states "to ride", I'd have to go with Talon, 'cause that's the only new coaster I'll be riding this season (probably). It looks like it has a great drop and some nice near-miss elements. Should be a great ride!

Well, the only two I am going to get to ride are Phantom's Revenge and X-Flight. I am looking forward to X-Flight more that Phantom's Revenge. I can't wait to experience the "flying". Not a lot of people ever talk about Stealth so I really don't know what to expect, but that is a good thing. X-Flight is my most anticipated coaster for 2001.

X... it looks like it will be an amazing coaster.

Even though you said only one, I've got to say that I'm pretty hype about every new-for-2001 coaster that I'll get to ride this season, not to mention the new-to-me ones that I'll be enjoying as well!

I would have to say X, but thats all the way over in cali. For me however, X-Flight, since it's closer (only like 2 hours away) and it looks cool.

Talon looks awsome! I will also get to ride Nitro this year. I guess I am more excited for Talon. I can only hope Nitro is as good or better than Apollo(which it probably will be). If it is it will be awesome. Talon looks to be the best inverted I have ever seen.

For me, I will get to ride a few of the 2001 coasters: X, Deja Vu, California Screamin, Psycho Mouse, and V2. The one I'm looking forward to the most is Deja Vu. I love the regular Invertigo, and this one looks WAAAY better. X and V2 are close behind. I really have to see X run before I can decide how excited to get. It looks cool though. Peace. :)

I am anticipating the cornball express at indiana beach. Even though it doesn't break a heigth or lenght record the layout is going to be awesome. If any of you have been to Indiana beach you know what i mean. Last year I thought it was close to impossible to get a coaster on the island let alone on top of everything. I am looking forward to other coasters but the cornball express has them all beat.

Mine's Nitro by the way. It looks like a great design without any of the gimmicks of some other new for 2001 coasters designed by Arrow Dynamics.

I'm most looking forward to riding Hypersonic XLC, since it is so unique. Second would be Batwing.

I think X is being anticipated the most by most people in the coaster industry. I know I can't wait to ride it.
