The Legend of Max and keeping balance

OK, this is a weird phenomenon. Every time I play LoM standard, I lose my balance. It always happens during the part where the arrows match the melody, with lots of freezes, before the speed-up. As soon as that part starts, I feel like I'm going to fall over.

This doesn't happen at any other part on any other song... anyone else experience something like that?

I've never played Legend of Max before, so I don't know about that.

But I have trouble keeping my balance when there's an 8th stream of just one arrow, like up-up-up-up, etc. CSFiLSM has a lot of these, and there's a countless other songs that do too. Sometimes I even have to grab the bar to keep myself from flying off the pad.

Sometimes I also have trouble keeping balance when a song goes from a stream of arrows into a freeze arrow really quickly. I can't think of any specific songs, but it's happened during a few of them.
