I haven't heard anything about the potential demise of Coaster (yet!), but I did hear back from their operations manager today about some ERT on Coaster come PNE/Fair time in August.
The fair is open very very late, so ERT on Coaster won't be something they are willing to provide. The park doesn't set hours, but will keep the rides open as long as there are decent lines. That is the greatest thing about the PNE. They did, however, suggest that we ask about ERT on Coaster in the morning, sometime prior to 10:30AM. I don't know about you guys, but I think it might be pointless, mostly because Coaster runs better as the day gets long, and with the park open til 1AM (at least), we can get more than enough airtime! What say you all? This is good news to all the CAC people as well, because we don't have to rush up to Vancouver from Seattle so early. We can sleep in!!!! Hooray! :)

Thanks for the info, Rob. Since they're not offering ERT I say we wait until we know more info on [SF]EV before making firm plans. That woodie could still rise ;)

Is there ANY real news from WW/EV. I thought I read somewhere that the materials (lumber, etc.) were on-site. Last I heard, there was nothing but rumors about WHO is doing the ride. I was sorta hoping for the initial offering from S&S, considering we're *pretty sure* it's not GG, and GCI has the Ozark Wildcat...
Nothing on the EV front, Bill! No news isn't good news on that. I don't know where things are going, but I hope the waiting is worth it.
Coaster will be ours, never you worry. It's all good. Especially in the dark? .........My God. It's full of stars...........

All you have to do is pay attention, on occasion, to this thread, and CPG notwithstanding, you will find out the info you need to get to the event. Do you live in the northwest? That's a good start ;)

If Jesus were crucified today, the Romans would build a cross from this ride. It is that unbelievable... :) Now, don't all get in an uproar about that last comment. It isn't a religious slander. I am deeply religious, regardless of what you may think, but I think it perfectly describes how "complete" this ride is. There is no better coaster in existence, and I won't be humble about it at all. ;)
