I do... unfortunately, I will only be home until 4:30pm, so unless you are done then... I might miss it!!

I definately want a full report with the inside scoop, John... it's your assignment and duty to bring us the hands-on report!! :)

ok here's the plan for tommorow. i have two classes tommorow morning from 8 - 10 (advanced web design and programming) although, i may not have any classes because i have the same teacher for both classes and his wife is in labor, just waiting for the little sucker to pop on out lol.

ill be up at the park by noon when pass processing starts. ill have my sony dv cam and digital camera's handy. ill be zooming all in on the park so i should get some good footage. takes me about 25 - 35 mins to get back to my house from the park depending on traffic. once im home and have the camera hooked upto the computer i can have the digital images online in about 10 minutes, and video online within an hour. so around 2 oclock or so i will start a new Topic here on CB with links on my webpage to the pictures. depending on the size of the video i will do one of two things. 1.) email me if you have a broadband connection and want me to send it to you via AIM or 2.) i will open up the FTP Server for my computer and post a link so you can all download it.

until tommorow

There's an easy answer to the lighting dilemma: glow-in-the-dark paint!

Well, John's hand-on report includes talking to some officials there AS WELL as getting some good digi-pictures so we who are not in the area can see what's going on.

He is supposed to also get some of the "behind the scenes" areas by the woods of which The Great Escape owns. Claimed that there was some kind of clearing going on back there last year around October

It's always exciting to see a small park get the Six Flags treatment. It's cool to see all the changes and construction over the years. Very interesting to look at when you knew the park as it was before SF invested, as I remember with Riverside Park before it became Six Flags New England.

Make it to SFNE for S:Ros and BDK!!!!

Why would SFNE get a ride similar to BDK? If by that you mean compact floorless, it makes no sense considering the fact that they are so close to each other. I wanna see some Intamin track at SFNE or some B&M track would be good too. Or maybe some four railed track. Or any track, except for railroad track.

Why ride rough coasters when you can ride smooth ones?

They said the same thing about CP getting an Impulse.

If the shoe fits, find another one.

Yeah, but Six Flags doesn't build like that within its own chain, this isn't competition these are big brother and little sister parks. Everyone is thinking that BDK is a coaster that will be cloned everywhere. The only reason why it had to be small was becuase the town made limits to how big the attractino could be. Sure it could fit in many parks, but it will not be the next B:TR.

I'm 99% sure that the picture on the season pass is of Roar! at Six Flags America. Crystal Beach Cyclone didn't have that much bulk on the track like the coaster shown. Yep that has got to be Roar!

i wasnt sure if it was the cbc eithier but thats what the lady processing my pass said. but you could be right. if it is roar i wonder why they put it on the GE pass. the CBC i could understand since the Comet is made from parts of the CBC
