The Great Escape has updated their Web site and announced their new addition for the 2001 season. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, there will be very little new this year. They announced a new show called "The Incredible Acrobats of China."

Check the Six Flags site for more information.

Woopdidoo!
Wasn't there a show at SFOT in its early years named that?
Ummmmmm... much better than a new coaster

Well, at least this attraction will go upside down!
It's really not a bad show. SFGADV had the show for a while and it was very entertaining. Now I know it's not a coaster but, coasters alone don't make theme parks it takes a mix of everything.
GE and SFDL got the shaft again this year. Its pretty pathetic that the only new thing is a show at GE. A rollercoaster was originally scheduled with many other new additions to the park (ie: new entrance plaza) but was all put on hold once again due to problems from the locals.
we'll see if GE is allowed to add some new stuff in the 2002 season.

for anyone in the lake george area, dont waste your money on a GE pass this year...why pay $60 for a GE pass when you can pay alittle over $40 for a SFNE pass, and still be able to goto GE with that pass? If the parks attendance, and the money made goes down. Maybe then they'll get the hint that people are tired of riding old rejects and unoriginal rides (excluding the Comet because thats just a great woodie) *** This post was edited by CalvinJ23 on 1/19/2001. ***
