The Famous Gum Wall!

Has anyone here ever seen or contributed to the Famous Gum Wall, in the "Devil's Den" ride at Conneaut Lake Park, in PA? I've seen it and its pretty, ummmmm, cool...

I have to Predators gum wall but last year they cleaned it all off.

They had a huge one on The Raging Wolf Bobs at Sfwoa before it became Six Flags. When they changed the name of the park though, they cleaned all of that up. Now The Villain is the place everyone vandalises. In the line theres a tunnel and that was a huge gum wall but last year they took all the gum off and put a cage over it. That still didn't stop people, lol.

Gum walls are just signs of ignorance. It's disgusting and is a shame that nobody cares how dirty it makes a park look. I just really hate seeing them and wish people would stop.

Conneaut advertises the wall of gum though.

I've seen a few different gum walls, but the one on Devil's Den at CLP takes the cake! It's pretty disgusting, but I guess that's just theming on the ride...yeah, that's the ticket! ;)

They advertise that disgusting Gum Wall more than anything in the park I think!

If you ride it, make sure you note that there was OTHER gum that was painted over. Some of the gum thats there now has been scraped off. And it's more than just a gum "wall," its the ceiling and floors too. More like a "gum tunnel" to me.

I hate gum walls in queues. I like to lean on a wall or a rail and not have to worry about someone elses gum getting stuck to my clothes hair or body. YUCK!

it used to be worse on Dr. Moratou's....er Devil's Den. There were layers of gum.

PKI has no gum walls anywhere, shows they know how to take care of a park.

BGT has one on Tidal Wave, around one of the first turns.

It can get really big when they do not clean it for awhile.

Demon at Six Flags Great America used to have one on this little tunnel in the queue. They cleaned it off and now Demon rarely has a line to reach that point, so it stays pretty clean.

people on the demon at sf great america still spit in the second loop on the rock. anyone notice that? u cant really tell when you going upside down because your going so fast but if u look closer on the ground you can see it.

gum wallls/trees are sickening. Who wants to see something thats been in your mouth

I had the "pleasure" of experiencing the Devil's Den gum tunnel (a much better way to describe it than "wall" Jess), and I was both overwhelmed and somewhat disgusted by it...you think CP has a big collection of gum...you've seen nothing! And the fact that CLP deals with it by painting over it is just too funny!

Oh well, the gum didn't bother me half as much as that shoelace-type thingie that hit me in the middle of the ride...now THAT was freaky!

There are gum collections on the steel nets at Cyclone's queve and to the left of Thunderbolt's station at SFNE. SROS had a large gum tree but it's not there anymore, they chopped it down thank god.
