The reason being that i need to focus more on school, and i've realized that DDR is pretty much a roadblock that i need to get over, so i'm going to stop playing. I'm sorry if it seems all too sudden, but i really didn't need any time to think about it, i just knew i needed to stop playing.
Now here's the good news: I'll still be posting here regularly, i'll still watch people play, and what not but i'm not getting back on the stage. Because then i'll get right back to my old habits.
So for the time being, i'm done. I dunno when i'll get back into it, IF i get back into it at all. But I am happy that i've been able to meet so many cool peeps because of it, and it's not like i'm saying "Goodbye, i'll never see/talk to any of you ever again." I'm just not playing DDR anymore.

Good luck with school and everything.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
I'm sure i'll still be able to share some of my past experiences, lol i'm not leaving.
Sorry Den ^^; No joke. But it's weird that this just coincidentally happened the day before April Fools :)
On a side note, Ultimate Frisbee is the greatest thing since sliced bread...and thanx for the well wishes. ^^
Granted, DDR is mildly addictive, but it's not like it's bad for you. It's good fun, and even good excercise. If you were an alcoholic or something, I'd be glad to encourage you to quit. But really, if you're busy just don't play so much, but you don't have to stop forever.
Anyways, it's not like i know you or anything, so if you feel you need to quit, that's cool. I just don't like seeing people denying themselves a good time. But what do I know...

That sounds pretty silly to me. Why stop doing it when you can just do it less?
Oh please...remember me and my horrible addiction to EverQuest?
Sometimes, the addiction is so strong, there's no such thing as "doing it less."
Stephanie, a friend of mine that rents out my basement has been addicted to Everquest for the last 3 years and it continues. He actually built 2 computers just for this cause.
Scary.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
I still think your "giving up" is kind of stupid, and borderline attention whoring for bringing it up here. Then again, that's what the hard core DDR folks are all about. ;)

And God forbid that your "addiction" promotes good health and facilitates social interaction.
I'm a 19 year old college student, Jeff. School is more important than DDR. Yes most people can manage both, but i can guarantee you that they don't play DDR as much as I did. If i just "cut back" to, say, once a week, i know i'm going to start playing twice a week, then thrice, then i'm right back where i started. I know myself to be that way.
