I've heard that it isn't on home video. But someone is selling a 16mm print on eBay; I think that auction is still going on...

Yes, it was originally aired on CBS or ABC (but NOT NBC). I have seen it about 4 times. very good movie, thrill rides with a love story... really. I haven't seen it at all anywhere lately. If you do get your hands on one, let me know.

The death of ocean view park was shown on ABC (happened to find old TV Guide advertisement). It starred Mike Connors, Martin Landau, Diana Canova, James Stephens, Caroline McWilliams, Mare Winningham, and Perry Lang.

" A freak hurricane.
A sudden rising tide.
Thrill rides start by themselves,
and can't be stopped.
A chain of mysterious events
shatters a happy holiday
celebration. And terror takes over
a vast amusement park!"

The movie was loosely based upon "Amusement Park" by Robert Stuart Nathan and produced by Playboy Productions. In the book, the park was a somewhat disguised version of Great Adventure.

I have it on tape. Quite good. Took place in Viginia, they demolished the Rocket. It was an ABC movie.

Do you have a prerecorded copy with sleeve or do you only have something you taped off TV? And when did you get it?

I think I can make unlimited copies, as long as the FBI doesn't beat down my door. Let me fetch the tape after xmas. I have some traveling to do in south Florida in Jan., but I will be stationary in Feb., and I see no problem making some copies for people. Figure like $3.20 for prioroty mailing, which comes with the box, and a few bucks for the tape, so I do not see it being over $8-10. Should be a decent tape, even though I taped it like in 1985.
