The death of attendance for Troika/Chaos?

Loved Schwabichen. Just think it was placed in the dead zone of CP. Don't get me wrong I think CP has done a great job reworking the part of the midway WT, Giant Wheel etc. But even with the installation of WT the traffic pattern for that part of the park was still suprising light for adding a new coaster there. It might have just been a off day for the part of the park the day I went. Do you think by adding two flats over it will enhance attendance? It gives more reasons to go to that side of the park. But even w/ the attention that has been given to WT midway: It stills seems out fo the way.Where do you think CP will add the flats? will CP have to demolish the French fry stall or relocate some of the kiddy rides to Gemini Midway?

I would rather see them move Wildcat over to the Twister midway and put the two flats in it's place.
I agree that that section is a dead area of the park with the lonely pirate ship over there. Well, it will soon have Troika (not Trionka) and Chaos to keep it company.

A Woody over there wouls really increase traffic. Maybe next year. LOL
Every visit to CP me and my friends stop at Chaos and stay there for some time. No matter where it is, I will follow it. So that is at least one person in that area.

Schwabinchen actually had more riders I think, just from casual observance. Those two rides will likely help out the midway, but they need to ditch the stadium and the playground. Get something else worth seeing there (year-round, since the dive show only appears part of the season) and I'm sure it'll light up that midway.

DELETED!

I kind of like the idea of a row of flat rides on that side of the park. I'm just glad they will still be close to each other. My soon-to-be wife likes to go back and forth from one to the other over and over and over.......

I agree about the stadium and playground. We caught the dolphin shows once in a while, but I have yet to go to the dive show. Sad that animals are a bigger draw than humans, eh?

I think some "mid sized" flats were needed in the area to give the less extreme family members something to do while the others were riding WT. Something lower to the ground than the Giant Wheel.

I think they should stretch the shore lines (fill in the lake, make beach wider) on the east side of the main parking lot for a new woodie. It could start near the south end of Disaster Transport.

I think it would be nice if Cedar Point moved Wild Cat back to it's orignal home ( At least close to it anyway, since Disaster Transport sits there now ) For some reason, I HATE the current location of Wild Cat. It seems out of place, and that midway is always really crowded.

I thought a good spot for one of these two flats would have been right behind MF's turnaround where they usually put the overflow queues. Wildcat moving to the Wicked Twister midway in favor of a flat would be cool too. It just seems to be like the whole Wildcat/MF/Mantis area is all coasters and there's nothing to do for anyone else (no, not me) who doesn't ride them.

Yeah great idea! Now let's try to calculate how much beach sand sells for by the pound. [/sarcasm]
