I was just wondering how much TR:TR at PKI ended up costing. Ive heard several amounts but most seemed to outragous. I still wish that they would have put a nice coaster in but o well, its done and over. I guess I can still wish for a nice big steel in 04.

I thought about putting this in another thread, but I don't think I really need to:

Does anyone know if Tomb Raider: The Ride will ever have it's name changed like on Flight of Fear ( Changed from Outer Limits: Flight of Fear to just Flight of Fear. ) I realize that a Tomb Raider sequel will is in the making, but after 10-15 years, what would happen then?

CoasterKrazy,

It's possible but I doubt it'd happen because then they'd COMPLETELY have to redo all of the theming. They lost the right to Outer Limits, but I don't see the same thing happening for Tomb Raider

They can't loose the rights to Tomb Raider, its a Paramount movie. As long as paramount owns the park they will keep TR.

What would they call it then? Just "The Ride?"

Instead of "Tomb Raider: The Ride" they would just grab a thesaurus and choose some other words. "Crypt Pillager: The Attraction," maybe?

I don't think you need to worry about a name change very soon, Tomb Raider is supposed to be a trilogy. The deal has been set and production of PT. 2 is about to begin.

Did you know that Anjelina Jolie's stunt double is a man, because she has gotten so buff? They're putting him in a boob suit!

And where, exactly, did you hear that Tink? As of now, according to IMDB, there is only Nicola Berwick (who was her stunt double in the original TR) listed as a stuntperson.

It was on Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood or one of those shows like that.

Tinkerbell is right. In the new Tomb Raider movie Angelina's double is a man. There have been pictures of him all over the net.

Roxy21,

I think that is a clip from a tabloid which probably has had stories along the lines of four-headed babies from Mars.

From a local Liverpool newspaper (where Jolie's stunt double - Eunice Huthart - is from) come these articles. http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/0100regionalnews/page.cfm?objectid=12323852&method=full&siteid=50061 http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/0100regionalnews/page.cfm?objectid=12308824&method=full&siteid=50061

EDIT: I found a site that has some pictures of Eunice Huthart ... http://www.bondpix.co.uk/eunice_huthart.htm compare her to the photo in Roxy21's link. It is the same person...

My question was answered, so I'm happy. Maybe we should get back on the topic of how much Tomb Raider: The Ride cost...

Clearly it's the same person....so Eunice is a man? They's at least have to look like a man to have the name Eunice. Did anyone else notice Eunice's "unit" in Roxy21's post?

Tink, who apologizes in advance to anyone who's name is Eunice. :)

While Eunice may definitely perform some of the martial arts sequences, that doesn't mean she's performing all the stunts. You'd be surprised how many men in wigs perform the stunt driving sequences in feature films.

At least they're using a male double for physical stunts. The movie 'Flashdance' uses a guy for sexy dance scenes. Talk about a bait and switch...

Heh... Glad you mentioned that. I was going to say something, but I didn't think it was appropriate.

It probably was "photoshopped" in so that they could have the photo match their story. The tabloids do it all the time...how do you think they come up with all of their genetic freak front page stories?
