The Boss...

I was just wondering what you all thought of this ride. I for one thought that it was smooth, fast, and VERY out of control...
It flat out flys!. The first drop with the double down is simply grand! You know it is there, but it still tends to surprise you. Although the Gertslauer Trains are not my first choice on such an intense ride, (they have no padding on the lap bars), I was lucky to be at media day and rode it with PTC trains from the Screaming Eagle.

I agree. I really liked The Boss when I rode it back in July. I personally found it to be more fun than the Villian.
I'll agree also, The Boss is simply one of the most intense, out of control coasters I've ever had the pleasure of riding. The only break in the ride is on the mid course block brakes, but everything else is downright insane. I rode it early in the year, and didn't think much of it, but when I was there for the ACE event in July, WOW. That thing picked up so much steam it was incredible. I think it sits somewhere around my #5 or #6 wood. It's just absolutely phenominal at night!

"Legend 1 looks too intense for me."
Yeah, while I really like the ride I just keep on thinking of what it must have been like with PTC trains.

You build it, I'll ride it
Besides Media Day,I also attended the ACE event in July and thought how nice it would be if they would switch trains with The Boss and Screamming Eagle. Also the helix at the end is very powerful and smooooth! We were lucky to get to ride it quite a few times with the mid course brake off and in total darkness. This is not a ride for wimps. After a few small tweeks of the track, it should be even better next year.
