I set out for PKI at around 7:30 in the evening. I got there, and there were some long lines. I waited for the Flyers, and rode those, then waited 30mins for SOB, and then 10min for Vortex. I wandered around the park taking pictures with my camera ( sorry, not digital ) until it got dark. I hopped in line for The Beast at about 9:30, and began to wait. I was amazed at the nice looking girls that were there today. It made the wait a little less... agrivating. When i approached the station, i heard yelling and clapping and chanting galore. The Ops were GREAT! They had the whole crowd going, and it was an amazing atmosphere. After a 30min wait, i hopped on the second to last seat. We were sent off, and i slipped out my camera ( It was tied to my wrist, so it wasnt THAT dangerous ). As we were heading up the first lift, i see a flash of light, and BOOM. The fireworks start to go off. What great timing! The trims were low, and the ride was incredible. I can barely talk with all the yelling i did! I got about 7-8 pictures of the ride, which probably wont come out considering it was very dark, and a flash can only do so much. The Helix was great, and i found myself laughing with pleasure as we pulled into the station. All in all, The Beast at night is the single greatest coaster ride i have ever been on. If i ever find a scanner, i will scan the pictures for you guys to see. If your ever at PKI, you MUST ride The Beast at night. If you dont, you will be missing out on alot.

They can't be almost off. they are always on the same unless someone goes out there with a wrench and moves them farther apart.
Anyway at night the Beast is the worlds greatest coaster. During the day it's average to good but at night look out.

All I need is 4.5 million bucks and a half a mile long sliver of land and maybe someone could build me my very own Shivering Timbers. ;)
