The Beach Water Park: Aztec Water Coaster Question

Hello Coaster Fans Who Are Unpacking Their Summer Coaster Gear,

A few people were just discussing some of the upcoming water park attractions in the Southern Ohio area. I was looking at the Beach's water park website:

And it shows Aztec Water Coaster. I was wondering if this just opened up last year, and if anyone has ridden it? It looks to be VERY highly themed. Any comments on it?

While at the site, I also noticed some of the things they have added to raise the stakes with PKI's Boomerrang Bay. I know The Beach has had sand for a long time now, but does anyone know if Boomerrang Bay is adding sand this year? To me I really like water parks that have sand...it's just a cool feeling at a waterpark...even though it probably reaks havoc with them.

I believe the water coaster has been there for more than five years. The Beach always has had sand. And it always has blown away WaterWorks in quality and variety. I hope Boomerang Bay doesn't draw too many people away from the Beach, because it would suck to lose it.

The Aztec Adventure Water Coaster is the Beach's best ride, I think the Beach is much better than Water Works was, but I bought passes to both this year, so I'll have my choices. The Beach is also getting a new ride for 2004 for their 20th Anniversary, I'm excited to hear the anouncement.
