The age old question.

*S00perGIR stands up* *THUD*

I've never greyed or blacked out before. I've ridden Millennium Force, Power Tower, Scorpion @ BGT, too. This could be because I'm 14 and 4' 11". (No one makes fun of me for being short, though, which is probably because I'm so popular.)

I'm suprised no one black/greys out in Mantis's spaghetti bowl, because I can always feel blood rushing to my legs.

That are two seperate things actually. :) Feeling the blood in your legs isn't the same as blacking-out. A black-out is caused by sudden high G-forces. Feeling the blood in being sucked to your feet is caused because of long lasting G-forces in a stand-up or inverted contraption.

I personally had the "feet-thing" in Batman La Fuga, and very heavilly in Adrenalin Pur, a German fair booster. FYI: Adrenalin Pur has a maximum G-force of 6G.

I've gotten tunnel vision (grey out) on MF's first drop and 2nd drop before. It's just for a moment, and then my vision was back to normal by the time I crested the 3rd hill. The thought of "That was cool!" flashes into my head, and then I go on to enjoy the rest of the ride.

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.

I've never had a black out on a coaster, but I did have one on the Aero 360 when it first opened. I could probally ride any coaster out there, well at least the ones without height restrictions, but put me on an Enterprise or anything that spins real fast, and I'll have a gray out or black out. I'm only 15, but already 6'4, and the doctor said I haven't had a growth spurt yet.
DRNK, but then the blood is in your legs as opposed to your head is what I meant.

the first helix on S:ROS at SFA does it to me EVERY single time....as does going backwards through the loop on Two Face. also, the second vert loop on Mindbender at SFOG caused a little black out....and while im mentioning SFOG, the Pretzel Loop on S:UF is pretty nuts too :)

(currently a Dorney Park homer though...thanks to college:))

The Pretzel Loop rules.

The very brief shortage of blood to your brain is not injurious. If it was there would be a huge number of injuries just from people standing up to fast.

This is very true... This is not an injury, but actually a sudden illness known as, "syncope," or as many of us call it, fainting.

This sudden illness, can cause injury, if you happen to slap your head back, depends more on the type of restraint.

Tim, the pretzel loop DOES rock, back row is so powerful....also, Mindbender is getting some work this off-season.....ANTON!...:):):)
It happened to me. Not on a powerful or painful ride like MF and MS respectively, but on Raptor. I remember hitting the cobra roll and losing all sense of where I was. I had no clue where I was from the CR to the final brake run.
