..... or logical move?
I am wondering if Sawyer is adding the editor of his own free will, or if he was pressured to add it by his benifactors.
My thought is that he might not have wanted to until now. However it is a logical move, even if there was or would have been pressure to do so.
The game has reached a level of popularity where I think not adding it would have been a disaster in a sequal game. More over, it is a game that is about being creative and creating things, more than jumping through somebody's hoops. The editor, as it is being created here, is strictly in that vain. You create scenarios, parks, etc, and in doing so, I think Sawyer hopes people will keep with what he tried and ultimately failed to do with the cheat blocks and such. In the end, I think folks will create new scenarios, but most will move directly to skipping new scenarios built into the game, and making new ones, and go directly to building their own parks as they see fit. Ala Sim City, which will also be coming out in this year.
Still, I'm curious if he really wanted to add it or not.
