Thank You, Coasterbuzz

The other day at work it was so very slow that I decided to meander back through Cbuzz threads I'd posted to over the years.

Some of them I remembered -- Sprig and his "AWESOME guest relations experience" that involved him pestering the park until they gave him free passes, for one -- and some I didn't -- we really have worked over the FOL question at considerable length :-)

I would like to thank the Coasterbuzz community for 16 years of interesting conversations -- not to mention those conversations that wander far off the original topic but remain interesting.

And a tip of the hat to Jeff for making all that possible.

Awwww, I am sure these forums have served as comedic therapy for many of us. I usually try to escape here at least thrice daily to decompress :)

I need to find Vater's post where he touched on just about every CB inside reference from the past decade and a half. That's was awesome. Man, what ever happened to the homophobes? ;)

They realized how much money they could make baking cakes for the gays and are hard at work in the bakery.

I always confuse homophobes and homophones.

All I know is one of them secretly likes caulk.

I don't know where else to put this, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on Coasterbuzz. The Forums and Track Record tool have been a great help for planning trips.

Cheers!

This site and the people on it have been a constant over the last 17 years of my life, despite many changes in other ways. I remember reading about Stealth, X, and Deja Vu the first few visits to this site and swearing that people were making stuff up.

Over the years my interest in coasters has waxed and waned, but this site has evolved from "the place where I get my coaster news" to "the place where I connect with my friends, which happens to have coaster news." I've met a few of you in person and hope to continue to meet more and more over the years. Sadly, my ability to get to events has fallen victim to the 3 kids I've had.

Cheers to Coasterbuzz!
