Your presence at Lakemont will certainly be missed, Barry. Thanks for all your participation and hospitality, it has been greatly appreciated...

Good luck with your new position! :)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Two years ago when we stopped at LP I pointed out to my nephew that the gentleman putting on his wristband was the GM, I told Barry that I recognized his name from this site. He proceeded to stop by while we were in the Leap The Dips area and chatted. He later engaged my nephew in conversation while I was on the Skydiver with my niece.

Barry, you could not have been nicer and more accessible. We stopped in for just a few hours this year also, didn't see you but still had a good time. That back seat on the Skyliner had me just this side of scared. Good luck.

Barry, I am sorry to hear that you will be leaving Lakemont Park. You will be missed. The one time we got to Lakemont was three years ago this month. We stopped by the office to say hi, and you gave us a quick tour of the park, which was very nice of you. During a 3 1/2 week road trip, we visited 13 different parks that month. Lakemont had the friendliest employees of any park we visited. We really enjoyed our day there. Good luck with your future adventures. If your new gig doesn't work out, I've heard a rumor that Charmland may be looking for a new CEO. :)

Congrats Barry and thanks so much for making Lakemont a better place. I saw a humongous improvement from my first visit in 1998 and my last visit in 2008. You're such a friendly fellow to bump into at the park. And you made my pal Gator's day by getting him his lap on the kiddie coaster! (I already had it from 2008)

All the best to you, good sir!

Somewhere there's a picture with me and Barry and Matt...when the op saw me *standing* next to the two of them, it had to be obvious that I was "relatively" small enough to ride. ;)

Lakemont's loss is Blair County's gain... :)

Bill you were walking on the kids shoulders to ride Phantom Jr :)

Little Leaper was my 100th coaster. I couldn't ride all the others before riding LTD so It was last but was allowed on my visit in 2001. Another Jr. was my 200th at Idlewild but for 300 I did it big. Kingda Ka!

Bill and the kiddies go way back, He bribed Grandma at Conneaut Lake :)

I had a problem once at the park, and the lady employee that I spoke with about it was no help, but Barry, you came right out and fixed the problem quickly. I'll never forget that.

I was lucky enough to live in Altoona for over a decade. I went to High School there, and visiting every opening day of the season at Lakemont Park was always high on my list of things to do. I got to watch the park improve over the years.

You are a class act, and the Convention Center is very lucky to have you. Now you can start also posting on ConventionCenterBuzz! :)

It'd be really cool if you'd come around here sometimes and still post. Now that you're not representing a park, you can let your hair down, so to speak. :)
