Thane Wilson

Friends,

It is with a great deal of sadness to let you all know that Thane Wilson, Six Flags Corporate Director of Entertainment, passed away this morning.

Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

An aritical on this has not been posted, yet but as soon as one is made available, I will send it to the CB newsfeed.

Thank you for your time.

I'm sorry to hear that. We met Thane a few years ago up at SFGAdv, and he was very pleasent and allowed my son and I to tour the new "Batman Vs. Catwoman" set and get some great pictures of the cast.

Serenity now......Insanity later!

I'm sure Mr. Wilson will be missed. As much as bashing Six Flags is appropriate in most areas, I've heard very few complaints about the entertainment at their parks. I actually considered it to be one of their strong points!

I was thinking about starting a new thread, but this is probably just as appropriate...

Joseph Barbera, half of the Hanna-Barbera team that created such cartoon as Yogi Bear and the Flintstones, passed away Monday.

I heard about that too. Very sad, but he lived a full life. 95 years old....wow!

Joe Barbera will go on to live as a Legend, and will not be forgotten for a long time.

my thoughts and prayers with both the Wilson and Barbera families. they will certainly be missed.

and agreed on the entertainment at Six Flags parks, their shows almost rival the shows ive seen at BGE; very well done, and definitely one of the highlights of any Six Flags park.
