Texas Giant

Does anyone know where I can get the layout for Texas Giant at SFOT? It's one of my favorite rides, and I want to make it on NL as soon as v1.3 comes out. Please help.

Thanks In Advance

Sorry for double posting, I've already tried the Roller Coaster DataBase, but no luck.

Sorry. It's got such a twisted, circular layout, it's hard to find it. RCDB's probably got the best picture of most of the layout, but you can't really get the last half of the ride. I guess you'll just have to ride it a couple times to get the feel of the layout. I know someone at coastergames.net made one, but I really don't think you should use that person's layout as a guide. I'm not sure if that would be stealing or not. It's up to you.

Well see, I live near Houston ,but my cousins live near Arlington, That's a 6 hour drive to they're house, and another hour to SFOT. My Family usually goes just once a year,so I can't really do that. Thanks Anyway, though.

Ever tried satellite photos?

I don't feel like finding the Texas Giant, but it can be done!

re: the TG recreation at cg.net.

I think haux may be referring to my coaster. If so, let me just say that it is FAR from accurate. I was mainly going for the look and feel of it instead of statistics. I have a more accurate version at coastersims, but it's not completely accurate either.

I do you have the video "America's Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills in 3D," from 1995? If not, try and borrow it. It's got some nice off-ride footage of the Giant, coupled with an uninterupted on-ride segment that you can watch over and over and over and over 'till you've got it down. Might want to hit mute, though: The fake screams are simply attrocious.
That video is so shoddy... even the onrides are god awful, not to mention the banter.
I'm not old enough for coastersims.com

SF beat me to it. America's Greatest (vol.1) has several quite good on-rides, if you can look past the god-awful commentary/music. N3M3S1S - I'm watching the dvd, so maybe that's it, but with the exception of one or two on rides, they are overall quite good on that vid. Sure, the weather's less than picturesque on the TG one, but its clear at least, in my opinion.
