Terrible Idea: Coming to a Park Near You?

We've all had our fair share of laughs at the ridiculous rumours that have come and gone. We've certainly mocked some of the more outlandish ones with parodies of the "OMG I its a 400FT *SUSPENDED* WOODIE!!!!111" variety.

Little did we know, little did we know:

How would something like that go around a turn.

Painfully.
Sort of like the stewardess carrying the guitar down the aisle in Airplane.

My author website: mgrantroberts.com

perhaps it could be a launched woodie, like a Wicked Twister or Voodoo, or the like... ;)

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

I see literally no appeal in a coaster like this. Wooden coasters are fun, and inverted coasters are fun, but there is no reason to mix the two.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
That patentis old (I have bought it up on these very boards last year.) Seems cool but also dangerous to me at least.

Wooden coaster + OTSRs = BAD IDEA!
Just because you have a patent doesn't mean that you have to make what you had patented. They just don't want anyone else to make it and they have the money to prevent someone else from trying.

One word - Sadistic.

Exactly! I could patent my machine that translates the voice of God. Doesn't mean I'll make one or that it will work but, if someone else goes on a 3 day, psychotropic drug binge and comes up with the same idea I did, I plans to gets paid!

WOW! I think this ride would be awesome! I dont get why you all think it is so dumb.

Top 5, in no particular order: 1. MF 2. Maverick, 3. Kraken 3. El Toro, 4. TTD 5. Superman Krypton Coaster Top overrated coasters: 1. Incredible Hulk (Boooooring!) 2. Nitro 3. Expedition G-force 4. Goliath(SFMM) 5. Any Dive Coaster

Annnnnd by the "professional-ness" of those drawings - you can tell they came from a company. :)
My question is, How do you keep from breaking the track from stress as the whole weight is being suspended by half the track with no supports under it. I could see the track itself snapping and causing great damage.

Intimidator 305 the tallest most hated coaster nobody has ever ridden...

That thing looks terrible. I'm all for artistic expression but I can't see how that would sound like a good idea to anyone. Why someone would waste the time and money on something that clearly makes no sense whatsoever is beyond me.

Hope the seats are EXTREMELY padded.

I like how it cites "Pleasured Railway" from 1902...man...the good old days. ;)

Pleasured railway? What the hell were the riders doing to the railway? Sounds like it wasn't a family attraction. Walt Disney would have been disgusted.

Well it wasn't a fast or force-filled ride. I'm sure riders could hold on with one hand ;)
I guess it was a "make your own fun" kinda ride?

Was it a hang n bang? Oh, sorry if I offended INXS fans.

OK...I'm going to get ostracised, booted, and ignored for that one. And rightfully so. Can't believe I'm about to hit Submit reply.
