A 15-year-old trapeze artist was hurt when she fell more than 20 feet during a stunt show Tuesday afternoon at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. She was airlifted to the hospital where she is reported to be "in good condition." The show is operated by IAI Presentations, based in California.

I think it's just a run of bad luck for the chain. A couple of freak falls and a couple of people not thinking clearly. I don't think there was anything else SF could do to prevent these from occurring. Keep in mind, they are the world's largest operator of theme parks (numbering in the 30s I think), so they will have a higher proportion of accidents/incidents.
To the injured, you have my prayers for a speedy recovery. To the deceased, my prayers go out to their family and friends.

Yes, I don't get how this has anything to do with CP. Heck this incident I wouldn't even count against the park, since it's a third party running the show.
I also agree there's a difference between accidents and incidents. Chain/cable breaks, rollbacks, valleys, etc. are not accidents.

Accidents happen, as long as people do things accidents will happen, even on coasters sinds their made by humans.
