Teagan Marti receives a therapy dog from Charlie Sheen

Actor Charlie Sheen wired $10,000 to Teagan Marti and her family on Thursday for a therapy dog to help in her rehabilitation from injuries sustained when she plummeted 100 feet from a Wisconsin amusement park ride in 2010. Teagan Marti suffered brain, spine, pelvis and internal injuries in July 2010 when nets and air bags that were supposed to catch riders on a free-fall ride were not raised.

The sad note in this is that her parents apparently divorced since the accident. That's an unfortunate side effect of really tragic events, it seems. Sometimes couples get stronger, other times the event forces a wedge between them.

Hmm, a therapy dog from Charlie Sheen. At least it should be trained in how to fetch booze, hookers, and blow.
I think Charlie Sheen has multiple personality disorder. But it was nice that one of him sent the dog.

This supports my theory that even though Charlie Sheen comes off as a narcissistic douche bag, it's all an act for publicity reasons, and he's really just a nice, normal guy.
Either way, good for Teagan Marti!
