Tea cups plus water cannons equal Luna Park's new Water Mania

Water Mania starts spinning Saturday in Luna Park, giving People’s Playground visitors a chance to get soaked even if they never set foot in the surf. The amusement is a riff on the famous teacups-style spinning rides — but it’s got a battle royal vibe fitting for the place that gave the world Shoot the Freak.

I'm assuming this is a Zamperla variant of Mack's Twist & Splash that opened here in Blackpool a couple of years back. I think one opened in the States also?
Regardless, the technology looks a lot simpler than the Mack one that seems to have its fair share of problems.
These rides are going to sell by the absolute bucket load.
