Talon popular?

I know that many people have went from I could careless about Talon to well I'll give it a shot. What made them change their minds? Paint job? The tight ride? The elements? I would say that the tightness of the ride made me a Talon follower!

Talon is going to rock, roll, and take its toll!
I have loved Talon since it's anouncement. It just is perfect for Dorney Park!

I think that it's just different enough to stand out. Now that the whole immelman/inclined whatever is finished, it looks very cool. I also love the S-curve, which is similar, but not climbing, to the turns on Raptor and Alpengeist between the cobra rolls and mid-course. That quick shift from one way to the other always gives me that goofy feeling in my stomach.

I didn't really like it when the announcement was made, but I noticed the past few days how original and interesting the layout really is. I really like it.

Millennium Force all the way!
I think that the ride should have at least 6 inversions, maybe add two more corkscrews. But I think that the speed is perfect for an invert. OH yeah, PLEASE get rid of the trims.

What is life without geniuses?
Don't just think in inversions, you will only find yourself not appreciating coasters that deserve a lot of credit. I think Talon will be one of those rides to prove that inversions are not needed to such large extents to be good. Personally, I would rather the ride not have two more corkscrews, first it is kinda repetitive, and second am I the only one who thinks that this elements is the worst inversion on a invert?

Cedarfair is good
Speaking of Alpengiest, I wish that B&M would build more inverted coasters with gigantic loops, not the small ones like on Talon.

tails you consider 98 feet small? Use your head that's bigger than Laser's lift hill!

Shoot! How do we know they're even going to use them yet? Ride's not even complete, and people are already giving it guff?

Just wait... We'll see come May. ;)

Simply put, YES. Sorry, but IMO, the cobra roll is the worse inversion on an invert, as it gives me the least of that 'whippy' feeling (note: I liked Ice Dragon's CR but only because of the castle wall ;)).

Anyway, the novelty of going upside down is wearing off for me. Unless one of the inversion is something that really stands out, there dont have to be very many of them. Like Jeff, I have become very fond of the quick direction changes (all started back in the second half of Iron Wolf). Talon looked good to me for that reason alone.

I think its kinda lame people are already b****in about the ride and what needs to be added before they've even ridden it.

I mean, sheesh.

You build it, I'll ride it...eventually
to me it seems as intense as batman or montu and seems as disorientating as Mantis' track. The colors also catch your eye, and that drop is sure sweet!
Amen, Randy. Every coaster that's built doesn't need the same things for it to be a great ride. Two inversions, four inversions, ten inversions -- who cares? Just get on it and have fun for cryin' out loud!

Personally, I think Talon will be a great addition to Dorney. The layout looks great, the capacity will be good, and it will be popular with the general public. The only thing I was unsure about when it was announced was the color scheme, but now I think it looks pretty sharp. Can't wait to try it out!
