RideZone again has some photos of Talon: The Grip of Fear. A couple photos highlight what is sure to be a terrific moment during the ride - the drop under the lift hill. Also some unique shots.
I like how this coaster has no stupid gimmicks. It's not the tallest, fastest, or the first inverted coaster made of wood. But it looks like a very unique and intense roller coaster. Way to go Dorney and B&M.
I don't know about you guys but that element after the s-curve looks awesome. It kind of resembles an over-banked turn. I'm not sure what they call so all i could say was "that element."
I have been referring to it as a fan curve. I kinda like like the sound of it
VALLEYFAIR NEEDS TO BE THE NEXT TO GET AN INVERTED COASTER!!! Combine Raptor with Talon and you have the best inverted coaster on Earth!!!!!!!! :)
Wooden inverted? Now theres an idea for Kings Island...
------------- Oooooh, my freekin' head.... Too many G's Too many G's! No, no, Too much Beer before the G's!
Talon looks great and I cant wait to go opening day to ride it. The layout looks great but it looks like it is to short with to many g's just like Batman The Ride.
