Talk about a speedy coaster...

Okay, this one will probably get zapped, but....

Looking through the coaster listings here on CoasterBuzz, I did a double take when I saw the stats for Hersheypark's Lightning Racer...

3400 MPH and only a 51foot length!   Forget total speed... imagine the acceleration!!!!

(Typo's can be so amusing at times!)

Don't let the press and lawyers hear about this one!
UH OH I hope our senator friend doesn't come to this site.

Haha..  suitable name then.  Also note that it has a 4 train operation.  That seems tough on a 51 foot track.  Can you imagine the stress on the ride ops to keep the trains from super stacking?  :)

Don't tell me there's ANOTHER annoying announcement on a coaster.  Geez, what's with that crap.

Speaking of announcements, Carowinds has the best: "The train is now leaving the station. The train is now leaving the station. The train is now leaving the station"

At that rate of speed, you would leave your stomach and head at the top of the lift.

I agree with Starcoasters and Homey G.

I always get confused when Thunder Road races...
