Talk about a speedy coaster...

Okay, this one will probably get zapped, but....

Looking through the coaster listings here on CoasterBuzz, I did a double take when I saw the stats for Hersheypark's Lightning Racer...

3400 MPH and only a 51foot length!   Forget total speed... imagine the acceleration!!!!

(Typo's can be so amusing at times!)

Haha..  suitable name then.  Also note that it has a 4 train operation.  That seems tough on a 51 foot track.  Can you imagine the stress on the ride ops to keep the trains from super stacking?  :)

That sounds great, then everyone would spend less time waiting in the station, being forced to hear that incredibly annoying announcement over and over again!

Speaking of announcements, Carowinds has the best: "The train is now leaving the station. The train is now leaving the station. The train is now leaving the station"

At that rate of speed, you would leave your stomach and head at the top of the lift.

I agree with Starcoasters and Homey G.

I always get confused when Thunder Road races...

"The Blue Train is now leaving, the White Train is now leaving the station, the Blue train is now leaving, the White train is now leaving the.....
