This ride is the Zola 7 at Fuji-Q highland. does anyone know if it has a lapbar, because even if it does this looks painful as hell. http://rcdb.com/installationgallery1523.htm?Picture=2

Your right those lapbars look horrible and may hurt, but there is no inversions on this coaster so it can't be that bad.

RC-48 doesn't have inversions either....

I can give you a pretty good answer (it's my picture :) )
Is it a headbanger? No. Is it a smooth coaster, no :) Painful? I don't remember it being so.
95% of the ride is very slow, as it is essentially a dark ride at that point (and FUN!!!). After the shooting dark ride portion it becomes a coaster in the dark. It is neither large or fast, so it really wasn't painful.
But, if you think those are bad restraints, look at these: OSTRs that pull down like lapbars http://coastergallery.com/japan/K01.html
A weird coaster!

Jeff, I ought to have you host my Mad Cobra pics, so you can see the crazy OTSRs there (or should I say 'used to be there?'). :(

The manufacturer of the ride is TOGO! That should tell you that it will hurt! Every TOGO that I have ridden was pretty rough.

But not all the japanese Togos are bad. The American ones, yes

Jeff speaks the truth. :)
