Taking a Trip to FL

OK, I am goin to Florida over Thanksgiving and I have to start getting plans together now. What parks are worth hitting down there? I am gonna be in Ft. Myers, so the Orlando area is pretty much out of the question. I was thinking about Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, but I thought I would ask here first if it was worth my time.

Go to US:IOA and ride Hulk and DD. I have a season pass there and DD is a walk on all day and Hulk you usually only have to wait 45 min or a little more. They also have some cool flat rides like Spider Man and MIB.

I went to BGT. FANTASTIC PARK. A MUST SEE. The only down-side is Gwazi wasn't dueling during my visit. Four spectacular coasters. Theming. Great ops. BEautiful atmosphere.

Disney. Disney. Not all thrillrides, but my favorite yearly vacation!!

Orlando is ~ 3 hrs from Ft. Myers
Tampa BGT is ~ 2 hrs.

Busch Gardens is a great park and if you like zoos, even better
Montu, Kumba, Gwazi, Python and Scorpion.

If at all possible, spend two days, one at BGT and one at Islands of Adventure.

Driving time is only about 7 hours total, and it will be a great time that you'll never forget.

Have a great time, what ever you decide.

I have been to BGT before they got Gwazi, MGM before they got Rock'n, and IOA. I can't decide between Sea World Orlando or that park in Daria that is opening the "X-Coaster".

DEFINATELY see BGT!!!!! Miss at your peril! Also IOA (although in Orlando) is a must do too! Spiderman is absolutely superb!

Go to Sea World,the place in Dania is not really a park.Its more like a huge arcade.They got like 3 go-cart track,a sky coaster,bumper boats and cars, stuff like that.Its fun for an hour or 2 but i think Sea World has way more to offer(Kraken,Journey to Atlantis).

Take it from a person who lives in Tampa! GO TO BGT!! All coasters rock(except Python). Go to IOA if at all possible.

I live in England and got back from Florida a few days ago, when i was there i stayed just outside FT Meyers we drove to IOA from there and it was fine. We left at 5:30 am and arrived at 8:30 am, then just had the very good breakfast buffet at the NBA city in City Walk. Seriously DO NOT miss th opertunity to go to IOA, as it is the most amazing park.
