Won't this be the first 90 degree coaster?

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point
No, three of the Premier launched coasters, all shuttles, feature 90 degree spikes. TA2K will be the first full cuircult coaster with a 90 degree drop, however.

Where would we be without the rumor mill?

Iwas gonna say that. They could market this thing with a lot of made up records that are vaguely true, but they don't. I don't want this thread to turn into a bash CP's MF records though.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
No No I mean 90 degree drops. I have seen thing for Oblivion and it is like 87 or something but nothing that had a 90 degree drop.

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point
The two Mr. Freeze coasters, and Speed, the ride all feature a 90 degree drop down the towers.

WildOne... aren't Mr. Freeze and Speed considered Shuttle coasters, and not standard steel coasters? I believe TA2K will be the first full circuit standard steel coaster with a 90 degree drop.
I guess I need to pay more attention to my typing, as I thought I had said that in my first post, sorry.

Everybody calm down, the coasters do not open for another fifteen minutes.
I would not really consider a TA2K a "standard" steel roller coaster by any strech of the imagination. It is essentialy still a prototype, "I beam" tracks are a first, compared to other steel coasters.
Would this make for yet another category, records wise?

So you want a coaster in your backyard? I hope you have a big backyard.
How did I know this was coming

I believe there are already coasters that utilize I-beams as running rails. I am pretty sure some German manufacturers do this. Anyone know for sure? As for the tires, that is another story.
Sorry, WildOne...I was just reading your second post...didn't see that first one was from you. I thought you were implying that Freeze and Speed were full-circuit in that second post...I'm an idiot.
