T2 @ SFKK

Does this ride have any theming pertaining to the movie? If it does can someone give a link with photos...

Nope , "Terror to the Second Power".

Son of Beast Broke My Glasses. The Beast made my elbow bleed. I don't think their family likes me.
The ride has nothing to do with the Terminator franchise. T2 is just Terror Squared.

If given the choice I'd choose a hamburger over a hotdog anyday of the week.

The ride was originally painted red. When Six Flags bought the park, T2 was repainted black, and a change to a Batman theme was anticipated, but it never happened.

Here are some pictures from Paul Drabeck's site.

The only "Terminator" themed ride that I am aware of is at Universal Studios Florida..

By the way, I dont care what the critics say, T3 rocked. Not as good as T2 but still a solid action packed flick.

Arena football has arrived in the Windy City. Go "Chicago Rush"

It's kind of funny too, because I remember hearing that when SFKK wanted to change the name, Walter or Claude said no way to SF. Apparently they said that it was a mistake to name that piece of crap after one of their own rides and that they'd never sell SF another coaster. I seriously doubt the latter since they're in business to make money and provide thrills. I seem to remember it being called the RED coaster when it was new, and Chang was the YELLOW coaster. Although when I first rode it, we called T2 the PLANE CRASH because you felt like you had just been in one after riding it. So maybe you could theme it around that and call it AIRPORT '95 - Another bad/cheesy sequel.

Yeah, T3 was a great action flick... especially that vehicle chase with the Crane... Dang!

I thought there would be more emphasis on how the machines were built, but oh well....

Did you know that originally the film went over budget and they couldnt afford to do the crane scene but arnold put $2million of his own money so they could do the scene...

Yeah, he said that on Jay Leno. Arnold's the man! T3 was awesome! Who cares if it wasn't as good as T2? That was a hard milestone to live up to. Kristanna Loken did a bad job as the TX but I guess the fact that she is so hot makes up for it.

Oh really?
OK, you got me on that one. But I was quoting what I had heard at the time which was years before the one in Mexico was built. Wow, you turn your head for a minute and someone sneaks a coaster into a park you've never been to. My apologies...I stand corrected saying that it would never happen. The person who gave me the information was one of those people from ACE. I thought it was too funny to be true, but worth repeating.

I saw T3 and have to say I loved it, although I didn't think it was overwhelmingly better than T2, it delivered alot of what T2 was lacking. This movie was action packed from the word go and only gave a few scenes to catch up on a few things like the cemetay scene and when they stop at a trailor home. The TX was definatly badass and so much better than the T 1000 and with that ball of energy. The whole skynet thing confused me in the 1st 2 movies and this movie explained it and showed how it would all go down. It confused me a bit on the lieutanants and stuff, but over all I'd give it a 9, and I can say its alot better seeing the TX getting up from that crouching position than Arnold. BRING ON T4 I wanna see the humans actualy battling and winning the war. Speaking of a the coaster, if they ever make a terminator coaster it better not be a Vekoma.

The Jokes on You!! Ha Ha

T3 rocked!! All I have to say is "Neo Who?" As big a Matrix fan I am, this movie blew Reloaded outta the water. Finding Nemo, however, will go down in my book as the best movie of '03, even if Revolutions and Return of the King Rock this November.

On Topic, though, I'm glad this came up, as I always thought T2 was themed to terminator, and that baffled me, as I thought it was from a different studio. Thanx Guys!
