Yes Six Flags Worlds of Adventure is not what people thought it would be. However the roller coaster elitests on this page (geeks, its ok I am one too) are so ignorant to the real problems of the park it is embarassing.
Myth #1 Park Managment is poor
Actually folks the people who manage the park, "in park management" are dedicated people who love the business. They are just as upset with the condition of the park as you are, they really want to see it be great. You should be blaming corporate executives, who are actually in the park about as much as guests. They cut budgets, mismanage money, and combined two parks in two months. Do the math, don't knock the in park management, they have to make a straight with a crummy hand. (poker reference)
Myth #2 The park continues to screw up
Actually complaints are down, I know for a fact, lets just say I do =). The park is moving in the right direction, but without a capital investment it cannot turn the corner. So again corporate is not doing its job effectively. The park has improved, it is cleaner, the employees are getting better, and the overall feeling is improving.
Myth #3 Park is unsafe!!!!!
Actually I think this one is from a guy who is scared of people that aren't pale. SWOA has metal detectors and deputies everywhere, real deputuies. Not the security at CP that is hired based on looks. Yea, there are alot of people of color there.....that doesn't mean unsafe. You sound ignorant when you say that. Yea Cheif Wahoo is outta touch too =). Go tribe!
Wanna know the problem with SWOA, it is simple. Corporate is outta touch, two parks combined that quickly takes a long time (like 5 years) to get on pace, and (one more time) corporate keeps cutting budgets. Because corporate is a small time park company that got in over its head when they purchased the SF parks things aren't great. Don't knock SWOA management, they do a great job with what they have, the problem is corporate.
