Swing thing/ FSS question

I know that riders in the cars can dump water on those below, but I have two questions:

1)How is it exactly controlled (I've heard riders pull a lever) and can you drop the water at any time?

2)How do the tanks that you drop water out of get refilled for every ride?

I was wondering that just a couple of days ago!

You can drop the water at any time during the ride with a lever. The most favored time is the first swoop over the midway to soak unsuspecting guests who aren't in line. Also, the cars get re-loaded with water when they are waiting in the station.

Yes, but how? Is it an automatic thing that fills them up??

There is a pump above the brakes that pumps the water into the tops of the cars. Many times kids will sit down and immediately start pulling their lever back and forth, dumping all water before leaving the boarding platform.

I took that at last year's IAAPA convention where Setpoint was showing this thing off. It's really comfortable and allows you a lot of freedom to move around while being secure.
