I can tell you from my childhood in the marine environment that a small piece of fiberglass can be nice and "slice-y". Ouch, it really sucks......
thats god they enofrce thatr ule becuase like jeff said 'Safety is no accident", and when your coming down those slides your going real fast ,and there nuthing you cand o to stop urslef fromt getting hurt ,just better to be safe then sorry.
