This is gonna be a serious airtime machine ! I betcha it's gonna be smooth as glass too - seeing as it costs nearly $10,000,000, it must feature Intamin's slick new track system.
I just wish it were being built in the US, rather than Sweden. Well, that's OK I guess...one more reason to visit the Netherlands. :)

Now Reopened With A New Layout!!!
I rode Colossos and those 'lasercut track' woodies are brilliant !
Colossos has a 60° drop, which is already breathtaking !
Enjoy Balder !
A small construktion update: There's not much left to build now. The first drop (yes 70 degree) is now finished as you can see on the webcam page http://www.cordes-row.de/3/6/4/f/1/INDEX.HTM
Now it's just the 2nd hill and some airtime filled camelbacks left and then they'll have 3-4 months of testing (when the weather allows)
Can't wait till 2003 season!

Sorry but I think we in Sweden/Scandinavia want to keep this Intamin wonder, but you're welcome to visit the park and ride Balder and Lisebergbanan. ;)

You can see the drop one the latest pics, the one you're talking about just doesn't work. http://www.cordes-row.de/3/6/4/f/1/iddb71e8-001.APD/picture.jpg
And indeed scandinavia is the place to be next year.
Next Years openings: Balder, Vilda Musen, EuroFighter, SuperSplash and Half-Pipe.
And then Faarup Aquapark & Sommerland, in Denmark, is going to build an Intamin woodie with this new track. But that's probably for 2004.

WHY can't we get a ride of this quality here???I'm sure Intamin wouldn't build it if they thought it was unsafe???
Dude, even if they did, Cedar (Un)Fair would RUIN it with BRAKES!!!!!!!

Wow. That looks like the Phoenix on crack and steroids.
I agree, it's like someone designed it with pheonix in mind and crack in the system. Airtime machine comes close... but not quite. It appears to be one bunny (S:RoS style perhaps) after another, gradually descending, with a few turns thrown in every once in a while... a bit repetetive, but an airtimer's wet dream to be sure. I can't wait to see what this thing looks like finished.
